“Pengamanan ini biasa kita lakukan agar para umat Nasrani dapat melaksanakan ibadah di Gereja dapat dengan tenang,” kata Kapolres Kotawaringin Barat AKBP Devy Firmansyah, S.I.K. melalui Kapolsek Kumai IPTU Faisal Firman Gani S.T.K., S.I.K. menegaskan bahwa pihaknya lebih siap dan waspada terkait kemungkinan terjadinya ganguan kamtibmas serta tindakan yang mengarah pada radikalisme.

Mereka akan berjaga sampai kegiatan ibadah gereja selesai dilaksanakan.
